This painting tells a story of how we bring peace to our spirits by making time and finding space to immerse ourselves in the beauty, serenity and stillness of Country. Each paint stroke and circle is symbolic of the sheer richness, beauty and diversity of Country and how nature’s colour palette and energy changes and evolves at different times; at sunrise, sunset, dusk, night skies, rains, clouds and storms; creating a new postcard each time.
Everywhere you look, from horizon to horizon; mountains, valleys, rain forests, sand dunes, forests, rivers, creeks, ocean and everything in between; it is pure magic. The colours chosen have been inspired by time spent on beautiful Butchulla Country.
