Turtle on Low Tide

Description

I am lucky enough to visit a beach near us that usually has up to 3 turtles basking in the sunlight on the beach at low tide in the afternoons. I took my camera down to capture these beautiful creatures and this one must of thought I had a spear in my hand as it started to move toward the ocean at great speed through the shallows, so I used my zoom to capture its movement without stressing it anymore! And the painting I built up with texture to create the water and sand effect surrounding the turtle..
