Did you know there are TEN varieties of the Australian Fairy-Wren?
Here we have the Superb Fairy-Wren. They are the sweetest little bird, quite tiny in fact. Living in garden shrubbery and darting two and fro at an incredible speed for such tiny little beings; this pair were exceedingly hard to capture on reference photos. But perseverance, and many, many shots (and blurred images), eventually resulted in a few good shots to put together this little scene.

Titled “Werrington Wrens” because these Fairy-Wrens live on my son’s property, Werrington. The original artwork was created with Pastel and also Colour Pencil, which captures the scene in a pleasing way, that will bring calm and beauty to any wall. Bring a little of nature’s beauty into your home.
